Landscape

I was so surprised when I arrived to find the green landscape.  I suppose I must have assumed Israel to be all rock and desert.  We arrived in February, a green time of year but I was still overwhelmed with the agriculture and the lack of brown hills.  There was also snow on Mt. Hermon.  I never knew it snowed in Israel at all.

About Me

My photo
This blog was created as a project in my Master's degree program in Educational Technology. There were so many things I could have done, suddenly I remembered the trip which changed my life in February 2006. I intended this blog for technical practice. Days later, after I had chosen this topic, I learned we are planning another trip to Israel in March 2011. In 2006 we toured Israel from the Lebanon/Syrian border at the Golan Heights to the southern border at the Dead Sea and many interesting places in-between. A fascinating adventure and Spirit filled time. This journey was certainly a huge highlight in my life!
